Statement of Purpose:
To promote an open communication between and among students, faculty, and employers. To facilitate growth within the MIS field through mentoring and student support. To maintain a strong grasp of what MIS means to society and potential employers.

Message from the President:

Greetings students, faculty and employers:
Last semester the MIS (Management Information Systems) Club was very active in helping students succeed in the MIS field and related fields. Activities such as professor informational meetings, employer presentations and company visits help the members learn more about the field and take the proper actions to forward their career within the MIS fields. During this Fall semester, we look forward to taking a more active role of reaching out to other students. The MIS Club is aiming to keep students informed of the benefits of joining an recognized organization such as the MIS Club, as well as making sure the Management Information Systems option remains an excellent option for students. We are also excited and optimistic with the several changes in the club officer positions for this year. We would like to thank everyone involved with the MIS Club for their hard work that made last year a success for all parties associated with the club. Your effort, hard work and involvement is appreciated and does not go unnoticed! I look forward to continuing to develop the club and its activities while maintaining the purpose of the club and the standards of the University. I encourage you to keep current with the recent activities of the MIS Club at our website.

Brandon Reinke
